This 16 X 20 original seascape oil painting is unsigned. Several blemishes are evident in the center of the painting. The skillful turquoise color scheme continues to mesmerize the eyes of viewers.

This scarce original oil painting, signed by George Whitman (lower right), was purchased by blog host summer 2008, San Diego, Ca. This "Charlemagne of the Art World" was known as a prominent landscape painter during the 1920s, along the California coast. Much mystery surrounds the exact date of this artist's passing; does he still live?

Giclee copy to canvas of Berthe Morisot's "The Butterly Hunt," original work of art (1874) currently on display at the Musee d'Orsay, Paris, France. This rare, limited edition copy is owned by blog host, and was commissioned and printed by the Carlisle Company. Center brass plaque added by blog host.
